Case of Aasiya Bibi? Something to worry

Its all started in 2009, when Aasiya Bibi engage in an argument with  other women while harvesting berries when Muslim women object Non Muslim women for touching her bowl of water and then she was accused of insulting Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH), she was then arrested and imprisoned and in 2010 Sheikhupura judge sentenced her to death by hanging.

After that decision , she appealed to high court but Lahore high court upheld the decision of death penalty in 2014,then she appealed to Supreme court and Supreme court accepted her appeal in 2015 and suspend death penalty. In October 2018, three members bench of Supreme court consisting of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel acquitted Aasiya bibi and reverses the order of trial court and high Court.

Supreme court clearly mention in decision that there is a lack of evidence in this case and the statements of the witnesses did not match but some religion-political parties are protesting against Supreme court judges and also damaging the properties of a common man. I guess, most of the protestors don't know about Islam.

Let us discuss about Islam, The word 'Islam' means peace and the 'Muslim' means, the person who submit his will to Allah Almighty through peace. Quran says, "if you kill one human being without any solid justification, it is as though, you have killed the whole humanity".

 If there were strong evidences against her then Why would Supreme court  reverses the decision of trial court and high court.
Let suppose Aasiya bibi was guilty but there were no strong evidences , then you have to give the benefit of doubt to Aasiya bibi and that is What the Islam is saying because it is the matter of life.

Now, come back to protestors, Are they were spreading peace through hate? by creating trouble to a common man who don't have any link with this case .

Please think about What you are doing? if you had any query against the decision of Supreme Court , just file a review petition but protesting was not the right way.

Thanks

Some Important facts and details about RIVERS OF Pakistan and Indus water treaty???

Indus water treaty?

1) Indus water treaty was signed in Karachi in September 19, 1960 by Indian Prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Pakistani President Ayub Khan which was Brokered by World bank.

2) According to this agreement, India can use the water of eastern rivers Ravi, Sutlej and Beas, while Pakistan will use the water of western rivers Jhelum, Chenab and Indus.

3) As Indus is the largest river in Asia and flows through India , travels all across Pakistan and falls in Arabian sea, so according to agreement ,the India can use 20%  water of Indus river.

Why Indus water treaty was signed?

As shown in a map, only Indus and Sutlej originates from China and the remaining all have sources in India. As Pakistan is the agricultural country and its economy mainly depends upon agriculture. So, Pakistan was in fear that in case of any war, India will create droughts and floods in Pakistan because India is capable to control these rivers as their sources are in India. So, Indus water treaty was signed to ensure the safety of Pakistan .

Dams on which river?

As Pakistan can use the water of three rivers, Indus , Jhelum and chenab. Mangla dam is built on Jhelum river and Tarbela dam is built on Indus river.

Global warming and its impact?? Must read

Global warming:

Global warming is the increase in overall temperature of Earth's atmosphere.

How Global warming affect world?

When light from Sun shines on Earth's surface, Earth absorb some heat to warm the planet and radiate remaining into atmosphere,then greenhouses gases (like carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbon etc) trap some of the heat in atmosphere and remaining escape into the space. The more greenhouse gases, the more heat would be trapped and eventually the temperature of the Earth got warmer and warmer.

Sources of Greenhouse gases:

Mostly due to human activities;
1)  Use of fossil fuels;
2)  Deforestation;
3)  Use of Synthetic fertilizers.

Impacts of Global Warming:

1) Rise of sea water:
    Due to heat, more ice melts from land which causes increase in sea water.

2)  Longer Wildfire Season:
      Due to heat, there will be longer and more damaging wildfire seasons in the U.S.

3)   Can Cause severe health problems.

4)    More Droughts.

 Temperature rise?

 According to an ongoing temperature analysis conducted by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute    for Space Studies, the average global temperature on Earth has increased by about 0.8° Celsius  since 1880.

Free Wifi in Tharparkar. Are You Kidding?

I am writing this article to tell the priorities of our governments. Sindh Engro Coal mining company is going to provide free WiFi with the help of Wateen in some areas of Tharparkar which also includes a production of 660 megawatt of electricity, this project will cost around $2 billion and will hopefully be completed in 2019.

But wait, Let me tell you one thing that people here in Thar are deprived of basic necessaries like they don't have good food, water etc. Lots of Children died here due to poor nutrition, thirst, lack of medical assistance etc

Thar is the only fertile desert in the world and its agriculture only depends on rainfall and they only earn from livestock( like selling milk, making leather , wool etc). Due to less rainfall, less grass comes out which causes a decrease in livestock and this brings overall bad impact on their livelihood.

Do you think, Are people here can afford the products related to electricity or electricity itself or can afford wife devices? The answer is simply No.

The $2 billion  is fairly enough to bring some changes in tharparkar like provide them nutritional food or bring alternative source of water for their agriculture or for drinking purposes as lots of dry wells due to less rainfall causes Children to die because of thirst, this is really an alarming situation to all of us.

I appeal  to Sindh government, please do what is need? the luxuries will be treated afterward.

Just think for Pakistan, think for Sindh,

Thanks

Why Engineers are Jobless in Pakistan? Must read

Asalam-u-Alaikum,

As a BSc(Civil Engineer), I am writing this article for the rights of Engineers and problems they are facing. The person who has done too much hard work to become an Engineer has no job, too much hard work does not only mean, he studied hard, Most of the students becoming an Engineer has to live far from their houses in different cities and face the difficulties of life on their own without their families and after all that trouble, their future is at stake.
For few days, I was thinking, if the person having technical education has no job , What would the person do who don't have such technical education? Almost all departments are touching their saturation point in Pakistan.

Why ENGINEERS are Jobless?

1)  Because Of some brokers and Contractors who just want our Pakistan engineering council number for some money and can not offer us a job.

2)  Because of the bad policies by the Government, Pakistani Contractors don't have big projects and they are also suffering a loss in Business as most of the big projects are taken by Chinese Contractors and they came with their own staff.

3)  Bad Education policies, BSc Engineering don't have internship, so most of the companies wants experience, How could the engineer got experience without getting any job?

I am really concern about the instability and unemployment problem in Pakistan, there are lots of issues to talk about . I do have one question, I recently receive Supervisory certificate,

Why  PEC display my Cell number on a list of Engineers having Supervisory Certificate?

as Cell number is a private thing.
Let Suppose, If anyone got the job from small contractor:

Is his future be secure?

The answer is simply "No"
I appeal to concerned authorities, do something for our future as the time is passing.

Just Think for Pakistan

Thanks

Controversies relating to construction of Dams in Pakistan??

There are many uses of  Dams but mostly Dams are made for storage of water and power generation and also Dams control the flow of water .

According to some reports, If Pakistan would not be able to construct the Dam then it will run dry by 2025, so we need to construct the Dam immediately but there are certain problem which create hurdles in making Dam.

Money Problem:

Money is the biggest problem while making Dam. Most of the big countries take loans from world bank and some other banks for the construction of Dams, As Pakistan is already in too much debts, so it raises funds from donations for construction of Diamer Bhasha Dam which cost around $14 billion which is too high, so we conclude that this type of structures can not be made with donations but let me clear one thing. If Allah wants that project to be made with donations than none can avoid that project to be completed. As you know Chief Justice has taken an initiative to create Dam fund so just keep donating in Dam fund and play your part.

Political issues:

 Controversy of Kalabagh Dam?

Provinces of Pakistan has conflicts about making Kalabagh Dam but Sindh and Kpk has the major objections:

Sindh objection:

As you know , only three rivers are in control of Pakistan
Indus;
Jhelum;
Chenab
Chenab has not much water for a Dam to be built and Mangala Dam is already built on Jhelum river so we only left with Indus river which already have Tarbela Dam but Indus river can support more Dams as it is the biggest river in Asia.
The site of  Kalabag Dam is near Mianwali so, the objection of sindh is that, if an other Dam is built on Indus river then the Sindh will run dry as Sindh is on the downstream side of the dam but that is not the case, they are just confusing poor people.

Kpk objection:

ANP and other small parties in Kpk don't want the Dam to be built and their objection is, If  Kalabagh Dam is build, then the the water would enter Nowshera and some part of the Peshawar but that is not the case. Nowshera is 110 km away from Kalabagh site so, if the Dam fill up to its peak level, Nowshera will remain 60 km away from Dam water.
So please don;t do politics on that serious matter

Just think for Pakistan

 Thanks

What is China Pakistan Economic corridor (CPEC) ? Its Pros and Cons?

What is China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) ?

China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a collection of various projects which are under construction throughout Pakistan, originally valued $46 billion but now worth $62 billion.

(CPEC) is estimate to complete in 2030.

Brief Details of CPEC Projects:

1) 1100 km long motorway will be built between Karachi and Lahore.

2) Karachi-Peshawar railway line will be
upgraded..

3)  Karakorum Highway between Rawalpindi
and Chinese border will be overhauled.

4)  More than $11 billion required to upgrade
good transportation network.

5)  More than $33 billion is estimated for the projects related to energy sector.

6) $2.5 billion for the gas pipeline between
Gwadar and Nawabshah.

Advantages of CPEC to Pakistan:

1)  It will boost the economic growth to 2-2.5 %.
2)  Almost 2.3 million jobs will be generated through CPEC.
3)  As Pakistan is suffering in Energy sector, so CPEC is investing more in Energy related projects.
4)  CPEC will modernize our transport infrastructure.

Disadvantages of CPEC to Pakistan:

1) As Chinese Banks finance CPEC with good amount of interest rate and Pakistan is already in too much Debt and it will be very difficult for Pakistan to return debt related to CPEC.
2) Because of CPEC lots of Chinese brands gets in the Pakistani market and Pakistani manufacturers  will suffer a loss.

Benefits of CPEC to China:

1) Huge interest rate, As CPEC originally values $46 billion, now it worth $ 62 billion ( As Pakistan has taken $62 billion from China).
2) As china is a big importer of oil via Dubai-Shanghai-Urumqi route which is a distance of 12000 km. Oil pipeline between Gwadar and Kashgar will make that distance to 3600 km which is very beneficial to China.
3) Only Chinese companies got the Projects as bids were one sided.

Major Imports and Exports of Pakistan?

Pakistan is the 66th largest export economy and 49th largest import economy in the world. In 2016 Pakistan exported $24 billion and imported $48 billion resulting in trade deficit, this was a biggest reason for devaluation of our currency, I have discuss in the previous post .

Now let us discuss about Major exports and imports of Pakistan.

Major Exports:

1)  Rice;
2)  Mangoes;
3)  Kinnows;
4)  Sports (best football maker);
5)  Clothing;
6)  Leather;
7)  Furniture;
8)  Cement;
9)  Tiles;
10) Carpet;
11) Wheat;
12)  Sea food.

Major Imports:

1)  Petroleum;
2)  Machinery;
3)  Chemicals;
4)  Vehicles;
5)   Tea;
6)   Fertilizers;
7)   Pharmaceutical Product;
8)   Plastic.
9)   Steel.

Why Pakistani currency devalued over the years?

First you should know about the terms Devaluation and Depreciation of currencies.

Devaluation of Currency:

Devaluation occurs when central bank ( State Bank of Pakistan) decreases the value of currency relative to other foreign currency (dollar) consciously (at own will) .

Depreciation of currency:

 Depreciation occurs when value of currency decreases through some market forces and government and central bank (State bank) are not involved e.g If the country is in war etc and many more factors.

Most of the time Pakistan is the victim of devaluation of currency, so we will discuss about devaluation.
In the past most of the experts advice the government to devalue currency because Pakistan was facing trade deficit (when export is less than import). Most countries devalue their currency to increase export but that policy backfire Pakistan because of that policy cost of our import increases and our imported products are mostly raw material like Petroleum, Chemicals, metals etc ( we have to import these products because these are necessaries), due to this, inflation in Pakistan increases.

Beside this, devaluation of currency can easily increase the external dept of the country. Let suppose, Pakistan has debt of  $70 billion, if currency devalues by 25%, our dept will automatically increase to  $87.5 billion without getting any loan.
According to government figures due to devaluing of rupee during 2008 to 2013 cause our debt to increase by Rs 1.9 trillion, so these kinds of policies should be change which causes a bad impact on our economy.
According to current report;

                                            $1          =        Rs 161

As a Pakistani , I am literally concern about Pakistan because due to bad policies of governments, our country has suffer a lot.

Easiest method to understand the Economy

IF you want to know about economy, you should familiarize the term GDP(Gross domestic product)

What is GDP?

Gross domestic product or GDP is the market value of all goods(e.g Cars , bikes, houses, grocery, in short, all tangible items) or services(e.g Doctors, Engineers,  Lawyers, Your barber etc) produced in a country within a certain period like in one year

GDP of Pakistan in year 2016-2017 was $304.95 billion (which means market value of all goods and services produced in Pakistan in 2017 was $304.95 billion or $304950000000

GDP of Pakistan in year 2015-2016 was $288.65 billion

GDP per capita:

GDP per capita means average income of a single person
It can be calculated as
                                             GDP  in certain period (like in a year)
  GDP  per capita              =  ______________________________
                                              Population in certain period

 GDP of Pakistan in 2016-2017 was $304950000000
Population of Pakistan in 2017  was   197015955

                                    $ 304950000000
  GDP per capita     = __________________    =   $ 1547.8 this is the per capita income in Pakistan

                                     197015955

This is simply understandable that the country with higher GDP per capita is more prosperous but the country with high GDP has large economy in world ranking. Pakistan has $304 billion and America has $19.2 trillion  .

America has almost $ 59000 GDP per capita which is too much higher than Pakistan.

I am sure that you can understand the economy by reading this but let me clear one more thing

GDP growth rate:

GDP growth rate is calculated as          Present GDP - Previous year GDP
                                                               ___________________________     * 100

                                                                          Previous year GDP

                                                              GDP in 2016-2017   -  GDP in 2015-2016
    GDP growth   rate                 =           __________________________________    * 100

                                                                        GDP in 2015-2016

                                                     =         $304950000000 - $288650000000
                                                                ___________________________       * 100

                                                                             $278650000000

                                                     =              5.64 %

Happy Eid ul Adha

Eid ul Adha is also called the festival of sacrifice which is celebrated on 10th of Dhul Hija of Islamic Calendar.It honors the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in act of obedience to God's command, but God send ram to sacrifice instead.

Qurbani animal:

Animal whether  male or female must be very fit and can not be handicap and female should not be pregnant.

Goat and Sheep must be 1 year old (one share)
Cattle must be 2 years old (seven shares) like Cow, buffalo etc
Camel must be 5 years old (seven shares)

Meat Distribution:

Meat of Qurbani should be distributed into three parts, one part for home, other part for relatives and friends and third part for poor and needy.

Difference between BC and AD, What is hijri year?

BC and AD

BC:

BC means Before Christ, It simply means before the birth of Hazrat Essa( AS)/ Jesus which is approximately 2000 years.

AD:

AD means Anno Domini, some people think it means after death but no, it simply means anno Domini means in the year of  Lord/ after the birth of Jesus as per Christians think.
As BC is almost 2000 years, 500 AD means 500 years after 2000 years.

Hijri years:

Hijri years are the years in the lunar Islamic calendar. It is calculated after our beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) has done migration/Hijrat from Makkah to Madina. In 622 AD, our beloved Prophet has done migration , 624 AD means 2 hijri year.

Imran Khan's first announcement

Imran Khan has announced that the government will make a task force to bring laundered money back to Pakistan

I appreciate the decision of Imran Khan, the debt on Pakistan is increasing day by day which leads to very poor economic condition of Pakistan and which can also  put bad impact on our sovereignty.
Corruption has damaged our good will.

There is a great need to bring anti corruption policies at higher level and control the corruption from grass root level. Transparency international has calculated that Pakistan has lost Rs 8.5 trillion from corruption, tax evasion and bad governance.

I appeal to Mr Imran Khan to not only control corruption but also save government resources and money through promoting simplicity, because in the recent past, I have seen a too much wastage of government resources which ultimately lead to poverty.

Water Crisis in Pakistan

Water is the most important thing in our life and no life is possible without water but sadly for some reasons, Pakistan is running dry.

United Nation development programme (UNDP) and Pakistan council of research in water reservoir (PCRWR) reported that, Pakistan could run dry by 2025.

(PCRWR) has reported in 2016 that Pakistan has crossed the "water stressed line" in 1990 and "water scarcity line" in 2005 but despite two big dams Mangla and Tarbela which were made by Ayub Khan, no government has done enough for meet the requirement of water that we need today, as the population of Pakistan increases at a rate of 1.9% per annum, so the demand for water also increasing.

What is done has done and can not be change, so, we  have to look for the future and has to do something to overcome water crisis. Our ground water table is constantly decreasing and we don't  have enough dams to store water. As you know Dam is the costliest project and these kind of projects can not be made with donations but Chief Justice of Pakistan has take initiative to make two Dams Diamer Bhasha and Muhammadan with donations.

Supreme Court opens an account in State bank for this purpose and given account number on various sites, Please ensure your participation in dam's donation , If you don't have enough resources then, just send the message to 8000 by writing dam in it and Rs 10 will be donated, any person who own a mobile phone can afford this much donation. Remember, that miner donation can make a  huge difference at the end.
This is all I have to say,
Just think for Pakistan,

Thanks

Imran Khan is elected as a prime minister of Pakistan

Today was a  big day for Pakistan because elections to become prime minister was held in Parliament.
Mr. Imran Khan founder of PTI secure 176 votes from members of national assembly.
Mr. Shahbaz Sharif  President of PML-N secure 96 votes from members of national assembly.

I congratulate Mr. Imran Khan to become a prime minister of Pakistan. In his leadership, Pakistan has won the only 50 overs world cup in 1992. His mother Shaukat Khanum had a cancer due to which he was determined to made a cancer hospital which can give free medical treatment to poor. After too much hard work and determination, In 1994 Shaukat Khanum hospital came into existence in Lahore with public donations.

In 1996, he made Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) and contest election in 1997 from two seats and he loose  both of  seats, whoever think of a person who can not get  any seat in 1997 become the prime minister of Pakistan in 2018, this is all about his hard work, determination and consistency which at last pays him off.

I acknowledge his determination but at the same time I appeal him to deliver as he promised his countrymen to deliver. we have so many issues like :

Health;
Education;
Water Crisis;
Energy crisis;
Economic issue;
Unemployment etc

He has to do a lot to solve these issues. I appeal him to invest on human development rather than development projects as he promised  public.
Please just think for a Pakistan,

Thanks

Uneployment in Pakistan

Unemployment in Pakistan is an other big issue which I want to discuss with you. It is one of most serious issues which we are facing. The population of Pakistan is increasing at the rate of 1.9% per annum , this means more than one million people enter the job market every year, so, with the increase in population unemployment also increases.

Average unemployment rate for year 1985-2016  = 5.47%

Lowest unemployment rate in year   1987             = 3.10%

Highest unemployment rate in year   2002            = 7.80%

Causes of unemployment :

1) Population Growth;
2) Poor Education System;
3) Energy Crisis;
4) Lack of merit system;
5) Lack of investor's interest towards investment in Pakistan
6) Bad Government policies.

Unemployment cause a serious threat to economic growth.

I appeal to government , please change policies towards unemployment because I have seen various projects doing by Chinese companies, these companies just came with their own staff and they don't want to hire our staff for big posts which causes unemployment in our country.
As I am a Civil Engineer, I do face difficulty in getting a job related to Civil Engineering, then think about the people "who do not have technical education"?
There is a lot of saturation in almost every department. I request to Government to create jobs for better living standards of our people.

Human development and living standards of our people should be main priority of our government.

Thanks

Illiteracy in Pakistan

Literacy:

Literacy in Pakistan means "person who is capable of  reading simple text from  news paper or magazine in any language and do simple mathematical calculations such as subtraction, addition etc is considered as literate.
Literacy rate of Pakistan is 58% which is alarming in which half of the men are illiterate and two third of the women never had the opportunity to go to school. Most of the Governments did not give priority to education and they always allocate less budget to education as compared to other sectors.

Let us compare Pakistan's education budget and development budget of Punjab :

 Pr-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education Affairs Budget for FY 2018-19:

1) Government has set aside Rs10.12 billion for pr-primary and primary education affairs.
2) Rs 12.4 billion for secondary education affairs.
3) Rs 71.2 billion for territory education affair

Punjab budget for development for fiscal year 2017-18:

Rs 635 billion is allocated for annual development program for Punjab.

As you see, our governments are focusing more on development programs rather than education.
Our country is a developing country not a developed country so we need to invest on human development and not on big projects.

Most of the schools in rural areas have very low standards, we don't need to make new schools, just bring existing schools up to the mark because our future depends on "how much we invest on human development"?
We need to understand that only literate society can understand the social challenges and bring the change in our country.

Brief political history of Pakistan

On the day of independence of Pakistan, I want to share brief political history of Pakistan.

1) On 14 August 1947

     Pakistan came into existence from the  partition of India at the end of British rule.

2) On 11 September 1948

     Founder and First Governor General of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah died.

3) On 16 October 1951

Some thing to worry about

My name is Saif Ali I am basically a Civil Engineer and as a true Pakistani, from childhood I wanted a change in my country but  as I grow up, I suddenly realize change will never come as we are thinking.

     First of all let us understand"What is change"?

A change is the process through which something becomes different, it will  not come through better government, instead it will come when people tends to change themselves.
I want to share some of my experiences with you, I visited several place where free food is provided to poor and people were fighting for the food, I really feels bad for these people, this is not the case I want to discuss because these people didn't get any opportunities in life as they never have opportunity to educate themselves and when any opportunity comes in their way, they want to grab  through any means.
But I suddenly confuse when I visited the functions related to Engineers and Medical doctors, the same situations were in their functions, they just wanted the food through any means and left their education behind, so, What is the difference?
If the people in our society don't want to change themselves, How can we expect change from others?
The famous proverb is:

         "The leaders will be same as the people in their leaderships are"

Most of the educated people in our society are very uneducated because the only difference between educated and uneducated person is his Character, if he don't have good character, he is not an educated person.
Just focus on things which you can control easily and change your mentality and world will automatically be change for you.
